Nyah Beauty - FAQ's (Why Handmade Soaps, Bulk Orders, Off Line Sales)

If you desire not to make your purchase on our website please feel free to email us your order with your complete mailing address and phone number. We will email you back you order total and you can mail us your money order. Your order will be shipped within three days of your money order receipt.

For those who own a gift shop, beauty supply or spa and you desire to purchase bulk items please email us at info@nyahbeauty.com and we will contact you with information and pricing.

We currently ship orders via U.S. Postal Service Priority Mail. Please allow 5-10 business days to receive your order of in stock items. If your order consists of out of stock items we will notify you if we are unable to ship them within 30 days. At that time you will have the option of cancelling the out of storck item(s) and receive a refund or agree to the delay. Please keep in mind that our soap takes at least 3 weeks to cure. Therefore, if you choose a soap that is curing this may be the cause of your delay.

Unfortunately, Nyah is unable to accept used soap. Within 10 days of receiving your order, if you are not satisfied with your unused soap selection please return it to us in its original wrapping and we will refund you for the item or you may choose an alternate selection.

At the time you place your order you provide us with very private personal information. This is how it will remain...PRIVATE. At no time will we use your information for purposes other than sending you your order, applying payment for your order, sending you your order and sending you promotional information from Nyah. We do not sell or share you information with companies.

The first documentation of soapmaking can be traced to Babylon. It was said that the ash and oils from the animal sacrifices flowed down the mountain and the woman found that the water at the bottom of the mountain washed their clothes cleaner. Soap is believed to be named after a Roman mountain, Mt. Sapo.

Through industrialization soap making became passé and the mass production of soaps began. Commercial soaps are primarily manufactured with detergents and synthetic materials which may cause people allergic and drying reactions. During the soap making process the natural by-product, glycerin, is extracted and sold separately .

Handcrafted soaps are made with natural and pure oils. The oils are used for their beneficial and mild cleansing properties. Unlike commercial soaps, handmade soaps leave the natural by-product, glycerin, in the soap. Thus, leaving a super cleansing and skin friendly soap.
